Transfer a domain in
Unlock at the current registrar, add the auth code, then Steady starts the move.
Before you start
The domain must be unlocked at the current registrar. Get the auth / EPP / transfer code. Some registries also require the owner email to approve. Transfer is only offered for extensions Steady lists as transferable.
If the transfer price is zero, the move can start after we have the code. If it costs money, you pay through Steady checkout first. A payment-required refusal means the transfer is not a free inbound move.
Start the transfer
Use Transfer on the site or in the portal. Enter the domain and auth code. After payment (when required) and a valid code, status becomes pending transfer. Registry time varies; .nl is often faster than many gTLDs.
After it lands
The domain appears in your account like a registration: lock, auto-renew, nameservers, DNS. Point nameservers at Steady hosting or keep existing DNS until you are ready to cut over.
