Two-factor authentication
Turn 2FA on in account settings before you buy infrastructure.
Why
The portal can cancel servers, change DNS and pay invoices. A stolen password is enough to take a site offline or move a domain. Enable two-factor in account settings after you verify email.
Recovery
Store backup codes where you will find them if you lose the phone. Support can help with a locked account, but that is slower than using a backup code. Do not share 2FA codes in chat with colleagues — each person should have their own login.
