Resize a VPS
Move to a larger published plan without rebuilding from scratch.
When you can resize
Resize is offered when the server’s resize capability is on. Dedicated servers cannot be resized this way. You pick another published plan from the options the portal returns for that server.
Before you start
Confirm you have a recent backup of anything you cannot lose. A resize needs a short reboot. Storage increases are typical; shrinking disk is not something to assume.
Apply
Open the server, choose the new plan, confirm. Billing is adjusted on the subscription; you see the new monthly amount on the next invoice. Follow progress on the server page.
