Cancel a service
VPS, hosting, websites and domains each stop on their own rules.
VPS and dedicated
Schedule cancellation from the server page. Billing stops at the end of the current period. You can revoke a scheduled cancel until it takes effect. After the period ends the disk is gone — copy data first.
Websites and hosting
Cancel from the subscription in Billing or the product page. The site stays up until the period you already paid ends, unless we have to suspend for unpaid invoices. The domain on that plan is a separate product: cancelling the website does not automatically drop the name.
Domains
Turn auto-renew off if you want the name to expire at the current expiry date. That is not the same as an immediate delete. Transfer out if you are taking the name to another registrar; do not let it lapse unless you mean to.
